Richard Galbraith has been painting and illustrating for the last 25 years, and has become particularly well known for his family of whimsical Australian characters - koalas, kangaroos, kookaburras and cockatoos to name but a few.
Richard also spends part of each year visiting primary schools across Victoria, conducting cartoon workshops for the students.
When Richard's not conducting cartoon workshops, he can usually be found in his studio working on a new book, a new Christmas card or stationery design, or some other creative project.
But while working on creative projects requires space and solitude, Richard's never alone. For Suzy, his faithful canine companion, is never far away.
Suzy is either sitting in her special chair in the studio, keeping an eye on progress, or else she's lying outside in the sun. And you guessed it... her favourite sunny spot is always a dusty one.
Thus Dusty Dog Books was born.
